StriVectin Repair and Protect Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 30

StriVectin Repair and Protect Moisturizer is my new favorite way to combat lines and wrinkles, protect my skin from the sun and drench my face with healthy antioxidants.

The formula has a whipped consistency so a little dab goes a long way. Lightly scented, this cream melts into the skin quickly and evenly.

Since it contains SPF 30 I use this moisturizer primarily in the morning to give my skin all-day protection from the sun. Once I awake and do a little meditation, I apply my eye cream and StriVectin moisturizer. Next, I grab my morning coffee, and write my to-do list for the day and fifteen minutes later I easily apply my foundation.  What’s so great is in this short amount of time my skin is perfectly ready for my makeup as it gets hydrated quickly, looks dewy but never greasy.

On weekends when I am not headed to work, I love the fact I can put on my moisturizer, before walking my dog Becky or running errands, and I already have my SPF 30 broad spectrum protection on my face. As an added bonus to my delicate skin, which is prone to break-out easily, I haven’t experienced additional breakouts.

All in all this product is a nice find that will be a mainstay in my beauty chest.

BB means Beauty Balm and became popular in Asia.  Since their migration, BB Creams have gained popularity for providing coverage as a primer while moisturizing and providing SPF foundation.  BB Creams are also heaver than tinted foundation but lighter than foundation.

CC Creams are improved BB Creams that  address issues like redness or complexion unevenness with light-diffusing particles. Buildable color allows you to find just the right shade with a whipped and fluffy texture that sets lightly on the skin.

DD Creams are still new to the market and are intended to protect skin balance skintone and provide anti-aging properties with the benefits of BB and CC Creams.

Now that we have the definitions straight, here is a cheat sheet to help you find your skin in the list below and match it to the perfect BB, CC or DD Cream.
