So as New York City prepares for the rush of fashionistas, editors, photographers, trend forecasters and trend setters, the excitement builds for those of sitting under the tents feverishly taking notes on every runway look. But to keep on track during the frenzy of shows that begin from 9:00 AM to 9PM and can take you all over the city; it’s important for me to use some of the latest technology to keep myself on schedule.

Since these handy items can help you even if you won’t be under the tents at Lincoln Center I thought I would share my list of favorite Tech Must-Haves and Trendy Apps.

When I am conducting research on a designer or trend I don’t always have time to read everything that I collect immediately.  Since I need to save the information, I use the Pocket App which saves articles, web pages and videos synching my information across Mobile, Tablet and Laptops to give me quick access; allowing me to even read my information if I am not connected to the Internet.

To keep my iPhone and iPad charged I rely upon the Innergie Pocket Cell so I never have to walk around worrying about finding a plug or finding a seat next to a plug. This handy gadget is small and saves energy by turning to ‘sleep mode’ after not being used for 10 seconds.

The Bag Light is a cool way to quickly find anything in my purse.  This futuristic light shines just brightly enough and is so tiny it doesn’t take my space in my purse.

CloudOn is a convenient app that give you the ability to edit Word, Excel or PowerPoint files on your iPad. It lets me access Dropbox and Google Drive files and gives the ability to respond to any type of document.

The TripIT App simply makes me feel like I have a personal assistant and manages my trips and schedules all in one place and creates a itinerary.

handy-case-marie-antoinetteCarrying tech necessities shouldn’t be a chore, so I carry my necessities in this handy bag decorated with Marie Antoinette’s signature logo from the gift shop at the Castle of Versailles.

Stop back to visit my site as I will be reporting live from the runway of New York Fashion Week.
